Angulo Innocenti Cabernet Franc 2016
Regular price $22.99 Save $-22.99Cabernet Franc is fast becoming our favourite grape and here’s another wonderful example, this time crafted in Angulo Innocenti’s gentle, succulent style. Sweet spices, green peppers and violets on the nose carry through to a silky palate awash with more of the same and delightful minerality.
Ben Marco Expresivo 2016
Regular price $34.99 Save $-34.99Aptly named Expresivo, because this wine is a true expression of its location in the sought-after wine region of Gualtallary in the Uco Valley. Here the soils are chalky and well drained, allowing for great concentration of colour and flavour in the grapes.
The 2016 Expresivo has a deep ruby colour, dark concentrated blackberry notes, a lovely streak of minerality and fine tannins. This vintage is drinking superbly now, but has the potential to age nicely over the next few years.
Cara Sur Criolla 2018
Regular price $19.99 Sale price $17.99 Save $2.00This is lovely bright, light-bodied red, with a bracing acidity and grape-skin chewiness to go with its unique flavour of redcurrant jelly and rosehip syrup, tamarind peel and orange pith. But this wine isn't just about what it tastes like. You're drinking history here.
The Criolla grape variety was the first one brought to Argentina nearly 500 years ago by Spanish priests so that they could make their communion wine and remind themselves of the cool, high-vaulted cathedrals they'd left behind in Spain.
Well, there's nothing of that world of wafting vestments and heady incense in this. No, this is the young red wine the thirsty soldiers would have passed round the fire in a jug and downed in great draughts, as the mighty sides of beef browned, crackled and sweetened in the flames. There's a thought for a food pairing.'
Cara Sur Tinto 2018
Regular price $26.99 Save $-26.99One of the most impressive Bonarda's we've tried. This Italian grape thrives in Argentina and the Cara Sur Tinto is an excellent example of how good Bonarda can be. The 2018 is a full bodied wine with excellent concentration of dark red fruits, firm tannins and a long finish.

It's not often you see Pinot Noir in a blend, but it really works in this combination. The 2014 vintage delivers macerated cherries and crushed mint with undertones of cedar, crushed stone, nutmeg, and ground black pepper.
Susana Balbo Signature Rose 2019

The Susana Balbo Signature Rose is a stunning pale salmon pink colour, with hints of wild strawberry and cherry on the nose. On the palate, it delivers fresh, crunchy acidity, with redcurrant and light strawberry flavours and a long, refreshing finish. It's beautifully elegant from start to finish.
