When we say old vine, we're talking 65 years. This brings an amazing concentration of fruit and complexity to the wine. The 2017 vintage, made by leading winemaker Karim Mussi Saffie, is a rich, dynamic wine with ripe dark fruit, plum and raisin flavours and well integrated tannins.

Cabernet Franc is fast becoming our favourite grape and here’s another wonderful example, this time crafted in Angulo Innocenti’s gentle, succulent style. Sweet spices, green peppers and violets on the nose carry through to a silky palate awash with more of the same and delightful minerality. 

Plenty of accolades for the 2018 Ano Cero Malbec, including 91 Parker Points! Whole berry fermentation produces rich and concentrated dark fruits, whilst 10 months in French oak allows the wine to develop a soft, savoury edge and silky smooth tannins.

Aptly named Expresivo, because this wine is a true expression of its location in the sought-after wine region of Gualtallary in the Uco Valley. Here the soils are chalky and well drained, allowing for great concentration of colour and flavour in the grapes.

The 2016 Expresivo has a deep ruby colour, dark concentrated blackberry notes, a lovely streak of minerality and fine tannins. This vintage is drinking superbly now, but has the potential to age nicely over the next few years.

A stunning Malbec packed full of ripe red and black fruit mixed with spicy notes of vanilla, cloves and cinnamon from ageing in French and American oak. A beautifully concentrated wine with sweet tannins and a velvety texture. A great Malbec from Vina Cobos, we love it!

This award-winning Organic Chardonnay from Domaine Bousquet is unoaked to retain maximum fruit character. At 1200 M.A.S.L the grapes enjoy a long ripening period, bringing bright fruit and freshness to the Chardonnay.

This wine isn't a blockbuster, a palate-whacker. This is fabulously fresh, with the uplifting juiciness of an English market garden, ripe strawberries, red cherries, luscious red plums, just flecked with pepper and herbs, and finishing with the lingering scent of an orchard in bloom.'

The award-winning Signature Organic Malbec is from the high altitude vineyards of the Uco Valley. Blackberry, blackcurrant and plum flavours combine with figs and chocolate to give a complex, long finish.

One of the most impressive Bonarda's we've tried. This Italian grape thrives in Argentina and the Cara Sur Tinto is an excellent example of how good Bonarda can be. The 2018 is a full bodied wine with excellent concentration of dark red fruits, firm tannins and a long finish.

This mouth-watering Torrontes is produced from vines situated in some of the highest vineyards in Argentina, in the Upper Calchaqui Valley. Bright floral and citrus notes combine with grapefruit and spice to deliver a refreshing, crisp dry Torrontes.

Jean-Edouard de Rochebouët has created a gorgeous sparkling rose from high altitude vineyards in the much sought-after Tupungato wine region. He's also stayed true to his French roots, using the Champagne production method.

It's a delicate salmon-pink in colour with an abundance of tiny bubbles in the glass; with inviting aromas of wild raspberries and strawberries and freshly baked brioche bread.

A cracking label, and a cracking wine. From the much sought-after La Consulta region in the Uco Valley, the Hermandad Malbec is a full bodied, rich wine with ripe black fruits, rich cherries and juicy plum flavours, along with hints of violets and vanilla. Lovely silky texture and a long finish.

The grapes selected for this wine grow in a cool climate, around 2000 M.A.S.L. This allows them to develop pronounced acidity giving the Kaiken Torrontes a really fresh, zesty zinginess. It's typically floral in character, with notes of white jasmine and honeysuckle.

A really elegant sparkling wine made just like Champagne, and using the Champagne grapes of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. The grapes ripen at 1400 M.A.S.L, ensuring it's cool enough for them to retain the acidity they need for quality sparkling wine. Plenty of green apple, pear and buttery notes, combine with fresh acidity for a superbly balanced drop of fizz.

Two parcels of Chardonnay make up the Kaiken Ultra; 90 percent from Altamira, which provides freshness and minerality, and 10 percent from Vistalba, which delivers creaminess and mouth volume. Peachy and full of ripe tropical fruit flavours, balanced with a fresh zestiness from natural acidity.

The Kaiken Ultra is a true expression of Malbec from the high altitude Uco Valley, showing interesting spicy and floral notes. It's fresh, well-balanced and offers a super smooth finish.

Bodega Los Haroldos utilises high altitude to impart character and freshness into its wines. Kaleu Malbec is super soft and silky, and packed with redcurrant and bramble fruit.

This tasty red blend is from Tupungato, the northernmost sub-region of the Uco Valley in Mendoza. Delicate spices, ripe plums and cherries are balanced by refreshing acidity.
